Lake Brantley lost against Oviedo back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots fell 55-43 to the Lions. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lake Brantley's loss came despite strong showings from Zamariah Weng and Riley Coombs. Weng went 7-for-10 en route to 16 points, while Coombs shot 43% from the field on her way to 14 points. Weng is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games she's played.
Oviedo got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was KK Falk out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. Hanna Adamczyk was another key player, putting up 17 points and eight boards.
Lake Brantley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Oviedo, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.
