Lake Brantley Dominates Quarterfinals with 5-0 Sweep Over Lyman
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL — The Lake Brantley High School beach volleyball team delivered a commanding performance in their quarterfinal matchup against Lyman High School, sweeping all five lines to claim a 5-0 victory and secure their spot in the semifinals.
From the first serve to the final point, the Patriots showed why they're a force to be reckoned with this postseason. Lake Brantley's top duos wasted no time asserting their dominance on the sand, with standout performances across the board.
Leading the charge were Andie Bowron and Lila Varitek, who brought intensity and precision to their match, closing it out in straight sets. Khloe Williams and Peyton Harmer followed suit with seamless coordination and powerful play, also finishing in two sets.
On another court, Marin Plaisance and Mya Stacey executed a flawless performance, using smart court awareness and aggressive serves to dispatch their opponents quickly. Olivia Spordeler and Noelle Rivera continued the streak of straight-set wins with calm confidence and sharp net play.
While four lines ended in two sets, it was Skylar Shinn and Carmella Swanson who brought the crowd to its feet. After a tight back-and-forth battle, the duo showed grit and resilience to clinch the match in three sets, rounding out the team's 5-0 sweep.
