LBHS defeated TACFL in their Senior Night
Lake Brantley faced Academy of Central Florida National in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Patriots put the hurt on the Golden Bulls with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.
The win didn't come easy: Academy of Central Florida National scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-22.
Efrain L. Rivera Rodriguez was the offensive standout of the game as he had 31 assists and three digs. He is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 20 or more in each of the last five games he's played.
Lake Brantley's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Academy of Central Florida National, the loss snapped their winning streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 14-5 record.
