Lake Brantley entered their tilt with True North Classical Academy on Friday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Titans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in March.
Lake Brantley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Efrain L. Rivera Rodriguez out in front who had 28 assists and four digs. Rivera Rodriguez is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 27 or more in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Carter Green, who had 16 digs.
Lake Brantley's win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for True North Classical Academy, they moved to 12-8 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak.
Coincidentally, Lake Brantley and True North Classical Academy will both be playing Academy of Central Florida National the next time they take the court. The Titans will head out to face the Golden Bulls at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Patriots will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
