Frank Gooch has been the head boys tennis coach since 1984. In that time he has compiled 499 wins. He coached the 1986 boys team to the state championship, the first team state championship in school history, and to the runner up to the state championship in 2001. During his career he has won 12 conference titles, 6 district titles, 6 regional titles and been a state finalist 6 times. He coached David Tafur to the individual state championship in 2001, and Mark Palus and Chip Devine to the individual doubles championship in 1988. Coach Gooch runs a highly competitive program and promotes having fun above all else.
